Welcome to Rahi Notes. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Rahi Notes mobile application and website. By downloading, installing or using Rahi Notes, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. About Rahi Notes
Rahi Notes is an offline personal notes and productivity application that allows you to create notes, write journal entries, save ideas, manage tasks and habits, organize bookmarks, and build a personal knowledge system. Your data is stored locally on your device.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Rahi Notes. By using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
3. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rahi Notes for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease or reverse engineer any part of the app except as permitted by applicable law.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you create in Rahi Notes, including notes, journal entries, ideas, tasks and bookmarks. You are solely responsible for your content and for ensuring it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.
Because your data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for backing up your content. We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device failure, app uninstallation, or other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Rahi Notes to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or related systems
- Use the app for any unlawful, harmful or abusive purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the app's functionality
6. App Lock and Security
Rahi Notes may offer app lock features to help protect your content. You are responsible for setting and maintaining your lock credentials. We are not liable for unauthorized access to your device or content if you fail to secure your device.
7. Offline Functionality
Rahi Notes is designed to work offline. Features that depend on your device storage may vary by device and operating system. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of all features on all devices.
8. Updates and Changes
We may update Rahi Notes from time to time to improve functionality, fix bugs or add features. We may also modify these Terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Rahi Notes is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure or uninterrupted.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or goodwill arising from your use of Rahi Notes. Our total liability for any claim related to the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of Rahi Notes, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
You may stop using Rahi Notes at any time by uninstalling the app from your device. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device until you delete it.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
